Spy Princess Nails: Covenant

**Product provided for an honest review.

Today I have another Spy Princess Nails polish to show you called Covenant. It is also part of her Alias collection. Covenant is a green jelly base jam packed with emerald green, black, gold and silver holo glitters. Like Freelancer, this one didn't do too well on its own so I layered it over MmmmNails Nerd In Glasses which is a light grassy green. I really like how this looks. I think it is a good polish to wear for St. Patricks Day, Halloween or even regular everyday life...who needs an excuse to wear awesomeness like this on their nails??? Not me! Below is 2 coats of Covenant over Nerd In Glasses topped off with topcoat.

I apologize for the horrendous cuticles. The cold weather has been hell on my hands.

UYou can see the little flashes of holo in the close up.

I am really loving these glitters from Spy Princess Nail Lacquer found in her shop on etsy for $8.50.

OPI: Mariah Carey Collection

So I have finally had time to sit and swatch so I reached for the Mariah Carey Collection by OPI that came out for Spring 2013. It's an 8 polish collection that consists of 4 Studio Shades and 4 Stage Shades. The Studio Shade are you typical OPI polishes while the Stage Shades are the liquid sand polishes that had everyone going crazy to get. The first ones I am going to show are the Studio Shades. They all had the typical OPI formula. All of them were pretty opaque except for Sprung which took 3 coats to reach opacity.

A Butterfly Moment-
a peachy nude with a chunky golden shimmer
2 coats, no topcoat

Antibleak-

An plum creme
2 coats, no topcoat

Sprung-
a copper shimmer
3 coats, no topcoat

Pink Yet Lavender-
metallic baby pink glitter topcoat with holo micro glitter
2 coats over A Butterfly Moment, no topcoat

The next set are the Stage Shades or the liquid sand texture polishes. I found it best to apply a thin first coat then a thicker second coat. All of the swatches shown have had hours worth of dry time.

Stay The Night-
a black textured base with hot pink glitter
2 coats, no topcoat

Can't Let Go-
a purple textured base with purple hex glitter
2 coats, no top coat

The Impossible-
a pink toned red textured base with red hex glitter and star glitter
2 coats, no topcoat

Get Your Number-
a blue textured base with scattered holo goodness
2 coats, no topcoat

Get Your Number was my personal favorite of the collection with Sprung a close second. I want to mention that I did not have any issues with getting stars on my nails with The Impossible. They were however almost impossible to see and did not lay flat. I ended up picking off the stars because they annoyed me that much. Removal of these liquid sand polishes was pretty easy as well, no where near as hard as regular glitter polish.

**I purchased this collection myself

OPI: Fly

Last year OPI did a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. I was able to pick up of 5 of the 6 polishes in the collection. Sadly, I was unable to get my hands on Pink Friday. Well, I still have not acquired Pink Friday but I will be showing you Fly. Fly is bright sky blue/teal creme. My camera could not pick up its true color but it is beautiful. It also had a nice buttery formula with no application issues. I only needed 2 coats for opacity and it dried with a nice shine.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Pure Ice:Five-Some

Hi guys. Is everyone doing well? I hope so. My little princess is sick and had me up all night cleaning vomit and washing bedding and running her to the bathroom. Poor baby, now that I am to the point of near delirium from lack of sleep, she is finally sleeping peacefully next to me as I write up this post. Today I have a Pure Ice polish to show you called Five-Some. It is a black base packed with mainly pink, blue & yellow microglitter. It's very reminiscant of butterLondon The Black Knight. The formula was very thick and wanted to get gloopy. With 3 careful coats, I was able to get smooth coverage.

Essence: Edward's Love

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIIIIIIGGGHHHHT!
Ok! I'm sorry for that. I was watching Kevin Hart's stand up comedy show and I had to get it out of my system.
On with the show! Today I have the last Twilight polish from Essence to show you. It's called Edward's Love. Okay so I wish I really was the object of Edward's affections but this is the closest I will ever get <3
Edward's Love is a black base jam packed with silver glass fleck/shimmer.  I just don't think of this when I think of Edward. Maybe I was expecting something a little more sparkly or holo maybe. I had a better time applying this one than I did with Jacob's Protection & Alice Had A Vision-Again.

That's all folks! Thanks for reading. I really do love & appreciate all you gals & guys. xoxo

Essence: Alice Had A Vision-Again

Hello! Today I am posting really late since I had to work and then we went to a Three Kings Day event at a local McDonald's to help give out toys to the children of the community. Today I have the third polish from Essence's Twilight Collection called Alice Had A Vision-Again. Alice Had a Vision-Again is very similiar to Jacob's Protection except it's a blackened base with purple glass fleck/shimmer. I also had the same issues with the formula being quite thick.
