MmmmNails: I Love Boyz

Hey! Today I have another MmmmNails polish to show you. I originally was going to post the polishes I got from my January Julep It Girl box BUT blogger is a dork and I can't get to my pics sooo...here is I Love Boyz. I really love how this polish looks over this purple base. I thinks it Finger Paints Gumball Grape or something like that. The formula on this one was amazing as was the glitter payoff. Can you see the square glitter!!! *SQUEEEEE*** I love square glitter for some reason. This one has blue hex and sqaure glitter as well as white square and small holographic bits of glitter too, all in a clear base.

Glitzology: Blue Lagoon

I'm on a roll with these late postings, huh? I almost forgot that I had the most gorgeous glitter bomb to show you today. It's called Blue Lagoon by Glitzology. Everytime I hear the name I think of the movie. I thinks its with Brooke Shields. Anyways, Blue Lagoon is an amazing mix of aqua blue, some silver and golden glitters of varying sizes/shapes. This polish has made it to my favs list. The formula was a bit thick and chunky but that just made the glitter payoff perfect. I layered it over Essence: Jacob's Protection. I'm sure it would be opaque in a few coats on its own but it might get too thick since there's soooo much glitter.

1 coat of topcoat (it might benefit from the use of Gelous or multiple layers of topcoat)

Glitzology can be found on etsy. Stacy is always having awedsome sales. Right now she has 50% off all her polishes.

Essence: Edward's Love

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIIIIIIGGGHHHHT!
Ok! I'm sorry for that. I was watching Kevin Hart's stand up comedy show and I had to get it out of my system.
On with the show! Today I have the last Twilight polish from Essence to show you. It's called Edward's Love. Okay so I wish I really was the object of Edward's affections but this is the closest I will ever get <3
Edward's Love is a black base jam packed with silver glass fleck/shimmer.  I just don't think of this when I think of Edward. Maybe I was expecting something a little more sparkly or holo maybe. I had a better time applying this one than I did with Jacob's Protection & Alice Had A Vision-Again.

That's all folks! Thanks for reading. I really do love & appreciate all you gals & guys. xoxo

Essence: Alice Had A Vision-Again

Hello! Today I am posting really late since I had to work and then we went to a Three Kings Day event at a local McDonald's to help give out toys to the children of the community. Today I have the third polish from Essence's Twilight Collection called Alice Had A Vision-Again. Alice Had a Vision-Again is very similiar to Jacob's Protection except it's a blackened base with purple glass fleck/shimmer. I also had the same issues with the formula being quite thick.

Essence: Jacob's Protection

Hello everybody. Today I have the second polish from the Essence Twilight Breaking Dawn collection. Jacob's Protection is a blackened base with a beautiful blue fleck/shimmer. On certain angles I was able to see scattered bits of rainbow goodness. That being said, the formula left something to be desired. It was very thick and goopy. I think it might benefit from a couple of drops of nail polish thinner before I wear it again. It is beautiful though. The actual shimmery glow was hard to capture on camera but I tried my best.

Essence: A Piece of Forever

Hello all my beautiful followers. Today I have the first of four polishes from Essence's Twilight: Breaking Dawn Collection. I am a die-hard Twilight fan. There! I said it...don't judge me. I picked this up in Ulta a few months ago but have just gotten to swatching it now. My untrieds stash is getting a little bit out of control...(blushing shamefully with just a bit of pride)

A Piece of Forever is a warm golden metallic polish. It came off a bit brush-strokey but not enough to make me hate it. The formula was really good. It was opaque in only 2 coats. Now let me say something about the brush. I love the wide brushes that are becoming the norm in newer polishes. The brush in these polishes were so wide it was a little hard to work with. Other than that I have nothing bad to say.
