OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me

Hello everyone. What a day at work. It was our director's 50th birthday and we gave her a surprise birthday party complete with performances by each department and LOTS of food. So our dept sang Grease Lightnin' with the words changed to apply to our director. It was fun, only now I'm overstuffed and tired.
Today's polish from the Germany Collection is Don't Talk Bach To Me. It's a not quite green but not quite yellow creme. It kind of reminds me of pea soup. I really like the color though I'm not quite sure it compliments my skin tone. I used 3 coats though I can still see a little VNL.

OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby?

Hello everyone. I hope all of my US followers has a good holiday weekend. I worked Saturday & Sunday but I did have yesterday off so I used it to veg out and get NOTHING done.
Today I have Deutsch You Want Me Baby to show you.  DYWMB? is a beautiful burnt orange with a lovely shimmer finish. It had a beautiful formula. It stayed where I put it and glided on like butter. I used two coats for opacity. It was slightly brushstroky but not enough to bother me. My swatches are with topcoat. This color reminds me of the colors the leaves change here in New England during fall season.

So what do you think of my watermark? I thought I might add one since of all the issues with bloggers' pictures being stolen.

15 Follower Giveaway

Okay so I decided to change my giveaway from 25 to 15 followers. Once I hit 15 followers I will post the Giveaway rules and what the prizes will be. I'm excited to get things going. I know in the blogger world 15 followers is not a lot but each one means a lot to me. I am honored and overjoyed that others WANT to read my blog.
Why did I start blogging? Well, Let me tell you that a few years ago I would never have even thought that I would ever be into my nails like I am now. I was the type to go to the salon a few times a year maybe and get acrylics or go for a pedi. I never really paid much attention to the whole world of polish and beauty products until recently. My fascination with polish and doing my nails came about after googling nail art and tutorials out of boredom. I was amazed at what so many people were able to do themselves so I dug deeper and came across a nail blog, The Polishaholic. I was so impressed at how far she had come in the blogging world and her blog became my inspiration to start my own. Even if I had no followers, I wanted to document my manis and polish collection like an online diary. I now follow A LOT of blogs and have learned so much. Though I'm still a noob at this and am still working on my little space on the net, I am glad to have you with me to watch my blog grow to its potential. Just want to say Thanks!

OPI German-icure By OPI

As we move move along we come across German-icure By OPI. What a beauty! GBO is a blackened red shimmer that oozes sexy. Another of my favorites from the Germany Collection. This had a wonderful formula that practically applied itself to my nails. I used two coats and you can see how deep and sexy this polish is. Dry time was relatively quick as well even though I did add a coat of quick dry top coat to add extra shine.

OPI My Very First Knockwurst

Today we see OPI My Very First Knockwurst. This is one of my favorites colorwise; formula wise...not so much. I had trouble getting this one to level out but the color is so delicate and light that I forgave that one little issue. MVFK is a pale pink nude creme and was opaque in 2 coats. I did 3 to even it out.

OPI Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs

Our next stop on the German tour with OPI is Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs. S&7D's is a beautiful purple shimmer with blue undertones. I also picked up some pink in there on my first coat. I must say I LOVE PURPLE polish so I love this one as well. The formula was a little watery if I remember correctly but it was pretty easy to work with. I used two coats but I think I should have used 3 to add to its depth and dimension.
