Spy Princess Nails: Covenant

**Product provided for an honest review.

Today I have another Spy Princess Nails polish to show you called Covenant. It is also part of her Alias collection. Covenant is a green jelly base jam packed with emerald green, black, gold and silver holo glitters. Like Freelancer, this one didn't do too well on its own so I layered it over MmmmNails Nerd In Glasses which is a light grassy green. I really like how this looks. I think it is a good polish to wear for St. Patricks Day, Halloween or even regular everyday life...who needs an excuse to wear awesomeness like this on their nails??? Not me! Below is 2 coats of Covenant over Nerd In Glasses topped off with topcoat.

I apologize for the horrendous cuticles. The cold weather has been hell on my hands.

UYou can see the little flashes of holo in the close up.

I am really loving these glitters from Spy Princess Nail Lacquer found in her shop on etsy for $8.50.

Spy Princess Nails: Freelancer

*Product provided for an honest review.

Yay for the Boston PD and all involved in the capture of the Boston Marathon bomber #2!!!!! May we now get some answers and have justice be served! With that being said I would like to show you a polish that was sent to me by Chrissy at Spy Princess Nails. Freelancer is from her Alias collection and she describes it as "a honeyed bronze / nude shimmer, flecked with copper and turquoise glitters of varying sizes." I couldn't describe it better myself.

The formula was a bit thick. At first I tried to swatch this on its own but was extremely thick and goopy so I layered 2 coats over OPI San-Tan-tonio, a warm tan nude. Success!! I threw on a layer of topcoat and was smooth as glass. Some of the glitters look like they are curling in the pics but thats just light reflection.

I really like how the turquoise pops against the honey color base.

Spr Pincess Nails is a new to me indie brand but I have a feeling I will be frequenting her shop on etsy as her glitter blends are beautiful and unique. Will you be adding Freelancer to your collection?

You can find Freelancer and others at Spy Sprincess Nails on etsy for $8.50.

Red Mani for Boston

I can't believe what happened today. Its saddens me to live during a time riddled with so much violence and hatred. These bombings in Boston, MA are yet another affirmation that we need to rally together and rid the anger and selfishness from our hearts and work towards a better world, a safer future for our children. My prayers go out to all those families affected by todays events here in the USA and all over the world. Today we wear red in honor of Boston.

MmmmNails No.5 is a bright cherry red creme.

**The polish in this post was gifted to me by the maker of  MmmmNails. MmmmNails is no longer available for sale on etsy.com

My Late Easter Mani

Happy Sunday everyone. I wanted to post the mani I wore on Easter but it seems I never did. I guess better late than never. Here are a few pics.

This was my first attempt at using my dotting tools that I bought months ago and have sat in my desk drawer since. I hope I did a good enough job. My base color is Anise Hint of Heaven and on my accent finger is Julep Claire. For the dots I used Wet & Wild Candy-licious (pink), Wet & Wild On A Trip (purple), Julep Blake (yellow) and Anise Chill Mood (green). I used the new topcoat from Julep and I must say that my mani was ready to go in 5 minutes. The downside is that even though I waited a while for the polish to dry a little before applying topcoat, it still made my dots bleed a little :(
Its not bad enough to stop me from using it...or buying another.

**All of the polishes in this post were either purchased by me or a gift from a family member.

LynB Designs: Time And Relative Dimension In Space, A Manicure for Autism

Today we wear blue for National Autism Awareness Day. I dedicate this manicure to those who are afflicted with autism and their families and friends. I couldn't choose a more beautiful blue to wear than Time And Relative Dimension In Space by LynB Designs. I bought this a few months ago on etsy and had today as the perfecr opportunity to rock it on my nails. Its a gorgeous deep navy blue jelly with lighter blue glitter that makes it absolutely glow. It also had the most amazing formula. It was so opaque I only needed 2 coats and thats amazing for a jelly finish. Its exactly what I think of deep space. Words can only say so much...see for yourselves!
